Supply & Demand Analyst

Working as part of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team, the role provides timely and relevant information for the trading activities of Valency fertilizer platform across the region and globally. This role supports and works closely with the Business Unit Head in all aspects for daily activity. Travel within the region may be required at times.
Job Responsibilities
1) Study analyze the global supply and demand for all of fertilizer products that Valency engages in
2) Close coordination with all Fertilizer traders to receive information and disseminate relevant Supply and demand information
3) Assist with break bulk laytime calculation and work with owners to get the best realization of any demurrage and detention that we may have incurred
4) Business development for fertilizer desk focusing on new markets, day to day interaction with customers
5) Travel required to interact and key progress with the customers
6) Incharge of making Costing sheets other relevant reports to enhance the business.
7) Support with any other adhoc costing related or business development work for the Global Fertilizer Desk
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English but any other additional languages like mandarin / french is preferred
- Bachelors Degree with minimum 3 yrs of experience in related industry
- Strong operational experience
- Knowledge of Supply & Demand factors, pricing trends and regulations affecting fertilizer trade.
- Possess Eye for details, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment and possesses stong analytical skills.
