Fund Accounting Senior Consultant

**The role**:
Responsible for the oversight of Fund Accounting activities (Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Client Expenses, support services and external vendors). Interacts with various business areas and adheres to the oversight program in accordance with the outsourcing guideline. The Senior Fund Accounting Consultant reviews and signs off Fund’s NAV and be the first point of reference for day-to-day queries related to fund administrative matters, and serves as a liaison internally to ensure issue resolution.

**The key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Fund Accounting_
- Liaise with the offshore team on NAV production
- Ensures NAV’s are issued accurately and within defined timeframes
- Review and Oversight of the NAV before sign off to the client
- Ensures the accurate and timely payment of operating expenses
- Liaises with new clients to determine fund structure and level of detail required to support striking of NAV.
- Assist client in resolving complex fund accounting issues and/or other fund administration matters
- Financial Reporting_
- Review and preparation of interim and annual financial statements for the Funds including the completion of consolidated financial statements for complex cross-border structures.
- Active liaison with clients and external auditors, dealing with audit queries
- Ensures agreed client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are met
- Other Tasks:_
- Maintain a sound level of KPIs and high touch client service quality, and build professional rapport with client.
- Prepare and participate in internal service review meeting on Fund Administrative functions delegated to offshore centers.
- Conduct projects, assist in fund onboarding and sketched assignments as assigned by the Fund Administration Manager
- Drive Productivity and automation initiatives

**Skills/ Qualifications**:

- Extensive knowledge of Fund Accounting and related experience required
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Working knowledge of Singapore regulatory /tax regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrates commitment to producing high quality work and to timeframes required.
- Professional Accounting Qualification is desirable
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Investran in particular
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Independent, flexible and adaptable to change
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill
- Good organizational skill and time management
- Language - English (required), Mandarin language proficiency is a plus
