**The Opportunity**:
The Senior Software Engineer based in Singapore will play a key role in the development of the Proxtera solution suite and a core member of our budding engineering team.

**What you will do**:

- Lead in the frontend development of user interfaces for Proxtera's suite of solutions
- Bring your technical vision to life by prototyping creative solutions quickly and collaborating with others
- Engage in standards-based, open solutions creation and consumption
- Identify and implement opportunities for process and tool improvement
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js, Redux, Webpack, and React hooks
- Building future-proof front-end libraries and reusable components
- Making components responsive to a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Develop UI and UX strategies based on our goals
- Collaborate with our product and client side teams towards shared objective

**What you bring to the table**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT or related discipline. Certifications or professional qualifications related to coding, software engineering, software development (e.g. General Assembly) with relevant work experience are also acceptable.
- **Minimum 5 years **of developing user interfaces
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript, NPM, Redux, React.js workflows and React hooks
- Experience using front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
- TDD and Testing framework experience (Jest/Mocha/Jasmine)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object models
- A robust understanding of MUI and how best to use the in built functionality provided
- A hands-on understanding of how to create responsive designs
- An excellent understanding of emerging trends in visual design and user experience
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
- Strong knowledge of automated build and testing tools for UI components, such as Jenkins and Jasmine.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Adaptability to rapid change
- Having knowledge of any test automation tool such as Selenium or Cucumber is a plus
- Experience and knowledge on AWS is a plus
