**About the Role**

We are now looking for an individual to take ownership of developing and executing a set of sales transformation initiatives for our APJ Partner Business. This role is an individual contributor.
**What You’ll Do**
- Overall planning and strategy for Partner Business
- Develop a point of view on financial impacts, business trends, and new partner opportunities
- Develop and/or influence budget proposals and business cases
- Be a central point and proactively interlock best practices / case studies across regions
- Interface with internal stakeholders and external partner key contacts
- Regularly interlock with field sales/partner business leadership teams to uncover new strategic needs and subsequently execute those via pilot initiatives and lead to drive those initiatives.
- Lifecycle Services Capabilities and Partner XaaS, including Services Partners Ecosystem
- Develop and drive Commercial Sales + Partner Synergies including sharing of best practices
- Big Bets Design, Planning & Execution
- Strategic Partners - LRP (Long Range Planning)
- Managed Partners Practice Sales Activation
- Joint Account Planning Framework (advisor)
- Partner Business Models evolution
- Partner Operating Model Design - optimize operating model to deliver on 3-year growth objectives through:

- Partner Measurement

- Partner Sales - drive productive partner sales engagements through:

- Building and executing co-selling methodology

- Region alignment. The leader is expected to drive strategic synergies, alignment and exceptions with key internal stakeholders (general managers and partner leaders in the sub-regions) across APJ without losing sight of the vision for the partner organization.

**Who We Are Looking For**:

- Depth of experience in related to ecosystems
- Excellent intellectual and analytical skills - ability to structure problem statements and be the catalyst for uncovering new ways to solve problems. Prior management consulting, business development, or strategy & planning experiences are desired.
- Experience in field sales roles (e. g. direct, channels)
- A keen understanding of relationship development and influence in matrixed environments
- Financial aptitude with excel business case modeling, budget development and partner financials understanding.
- Experience in designing/driving complex projects, programs and processes at scale
- An understanding of strategy, industry, and market concepts (e. g. TAM, Competition)
- Comfortable in a remote team working environment; self-motivated and results-oriented
- Strong communication and presentation skills an ability to graphically represent new ideas and concepts to executive leaders
- Strong partner orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Strong time management skills - ability to multi-task.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, ability to establish rapport and credibility over the phone, and clearly articulate a value proposition.
- Exceptional presentation skills; ability to effectively and energetically present to partners, customers, peers, and management.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills including the ability to build and present information at executive levels.
- Highly skilled in presentations.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
