**RESPONSIBILITIES (Job Scope)**:
Summary: Inspect and rectify any unsafe place of work and unsafe practices
- Advice on the measures to be taken in the interest of workplace safety and health and Safe Management Measures (SMM).
- Assist in investigating any near miss, incident or accident, dangerous occurrence that occurs.
- Conduct in-house training to the workforce
- To work independently on the ground.
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
- Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
- Assist WSHO in all Safety related matters for the project
- Assist DSTA to inspect the worksite for safety infringement according to WSH Act and AOS;
- Work with DSTA and Contractor to review the risk assessment during each phase of construction and present them to DSTA’s Safety Action Group to ensure that measures to be taken in the approved risk assessment are implemented on site.
- Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time

**REQUIREMENT (Qualifications, Certifications, Experience)**:

- _Educational Level and the field of study: _Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health or Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health

**Experience **_required _**:

- At Least 5 years post registration experience and relevant practical experience in LTA Civil Engineering construction works with bored and tunneling.
- At Least 5 years post registration experience and relevant practical experience in Diaphragm Wall construction.
- Risk Management and Accident Investigation trained
- Amount of experience**:minimum 5 years**:

- Certifications required:

- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health Level B or Safety Coordinator Certificate
- Certificate in Safe Management Office
- Building Construction Supervisor Safety
- Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (Tunneling)
- Occupational First Aider & AED trained will be an added Advantage
- Managing Work at Height (MWAH) or Working At Height Assessor (WAHA)
- Confine Space Entry & Rescue Tunneling
- Confine Space Safety Assessor or Assess Confined Space for Safe Entry and Work
- Supervision Of Metal Scaffold Erection Course will be an added advantage
- Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) trained
- Experience in Aerodrome Safety and handling onsite Construction Temporary Quarters (CTQ) will be an added advantage.
- Able to start work on short notice.
- Able to work on shift work where required.
- Others:

- Well conversant in Microsoft Office & PDF
- Able to work on rotating shift
- Able to communicate in multiple languages will be an added advantage
