Singapore MARYMOUNT CENTRE Full time

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Psychologist. This full-time role offers a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts: 11am to 9pm, 12pm to 10pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Psychological Services**
- Conduct holistic psychological assessments, including cognitive, trauma/emotional, and behavioural evaluations.
- Collaborate with case/social workers to develop/review Individual Care Plans (ICPs)/Individual Transition Plans (ITPs) for residents based on assessments and case formulations.
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy interventions (e.g. trauma-focused interventions, e.g., Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Positive Behavioural Interventions and Support).
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional co-regulation strategies with residents during acute episodes.

**2. Case Management & Support**
- Work closely with social/care workers, care staff, educators, allied health professionals, medical professionals and Protection Officers (POs) to support integrated care planning and casework management.
- Attend and contribute to case conferences, reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
- Monitor progress and review/evaluate interventions as necessary, ensuring measurable outcomes.

**3. Training & Capacity Building**
- Contribute and/or provide training and consultation to care staff on trauma-informed care, attachment issues, and behavioural management strategies.

**4. Safeguarding & Compliance**
- Ensure adherence to MSF child protection policies and escalate health and safety concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation/work processes in line with the Centre’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and MSF requirements.
- Contribute to audits and program evaluations to meet service and licensing standards.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
**Education & Licensure**
- Master's in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP).
- Certification in trauma-informed care, play therapy, or other trauma-focused interventions is an advantage.

**Experience**
- Minimum two years of experience working with children and young persons (CYPs), preferably in residential or institutional care settings.
- Experience with trauma, abuse, neglect, and behavioural presentations common in out-of-home care CYPs.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong clinical formulation and intervention planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and understanding of family systems and socio-cultural dynamics.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
