We are looking for an experienced Materials Manager to manage inventory and components supply management at suppliers in addition, to other supplies. The Materials managers would be a specialist in supply chain and inventory control. They play an integral part by providing excellent analysis and record-keeping skills; meticulous with the ability to problem-solve looking from a big picture in terms of overall planning to minor details. The ultimate goal is to ensure our operations would be best supported with an adequate flow of the materials needed.

**About the role - you will**:

- Initiate & manage programs and projects leading to structural supply chain improvements
- Define the risks of the project and develops scenarios to overcome these risks
- Act as a Supply Chain Business Process Expert, supporting and sharing knowledge/Best Practices with cross-functional team
- Automate various analysis reports through active excel formulas like (macros, vLookUp, & etc...)
- Using the above, develop insightful recommendations and actions through the active collection of market data & analysis.
- Manage and direct external resources (e.g., subcontractors).

**About you**:

- A degree holder in related fields or disciplines
- 5 years’ experience in production planning, logistics, inventory management, etc.

**Your experience includes**:

- Strong Planning/Organizing/Analytical skills, leadership experience in supply chain management
- Strong experience with supply chain improvement projects
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and leadership
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized and disciplined.

**Location**:
The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms.
