Job summary
Amazon Web Services is leading the Cloud industry through the largest shift in cloud computing services. As part of our rapid growth and expansion, we are looking for a Media & Entertainment (M&E) Geographic Sales Lead to drive our strategy and develop customer relationships with M&E accounts in the Asia Pacific and Japan region (APJ) to the next level. The leader will work closely with a group of specialist Solutions Architects (SA) and Business Development (BD) leads on joint go-to-market initiatives with our Worldwide Commercial Sales (WWCS) Teams to drive a broader utilization of Amazon Web Services in this important customer base. This leader will be responsible for driving the growth strategy, building a sales pipeline, achieving revenue growth, nurturing customer executive relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan working with WWCS teams in APJ.
- Drive revenue, increased adoption, and market share increase.
- Drive engagements at the CxO level and with Line of Business Leaders across complex organizations.
- Understand and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services to accelerate customer adoption.
- Work with partners (System Integration Partners, Channel Partners, Network Providers, Independent Software Vendors) to extend reach & drive adoption.
- Further define and deliver the overall strategy and governance in a growth environment
- Prepare and deliver business reviews to the AWS senior leadership team.
- Experience selling to executives in a global role. - Experience setting and executing a strategy for a federated enterprise working with multiple business units. - A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) would be preferred but not required. - Experience as a sales and/or technical manager with a proven ability to scale an organization. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required. - Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
