Thales today employs over 2,100 people in Singapore across all its business areas.
**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- Support social media activities for Asia (keep engagement high on our channels with key content for the region)
- Maintain and enhance the content for the Thales intranet site pages for Asia
- Pre-event and on-ground support at events and exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and internal events
- Create video and digital content including filming and basic editing (e.g. subtitling of videos )
- Design posters, banners and infographics for internal communications
- Contribute to the Communications quarterly department report
- Administrative support for the Communications Department including vendor liaison, gifts inventory management
- Maintain close collaboration with key departments on areas where Communications can add value and deliver the message. Help them bring their messages to life (on social and internal networks - for project milestones, key profiling, new wins, etc)
**Required skills and competencies**:
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Strong writing skills - to help create content for newsletters, memos, articles, other collateral
- Firm grasp of social media tools and platforms including Twitter and LinkedIn
- A can-do attitude, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across groups and teams
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office portfolio
- Comfortable with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro or other video-editing and/or design software
- Experience with creative design and/or Content management systems (CMS) would be handy
