**Job Responsibilities**:
Construction supervisors are responsible for the management and safety of construction projects. Through planning, organizing, and controlling projects to create an efficient and safe workplace, including materials and personnel. Depending on the size of the project or company, a Construction Supervisor also needs to supervise teams of electricians, mechanics, or engineers. Some other examples to include:

- _Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet project timelines _
- _Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the construction schedule _
- _Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other main contractor to ensure smooth project execution _
- _Lead, supervise, and motivate construction teams, including skilled and unskilled labor _
- _Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers and subcontractors, ensuring efficient resource utilization _
- _Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, addressing any performance issues as needed _
- _Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations _
- _Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from project specifications _
- _Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site _
- _Identify and address potential safety hazards, implementing corrective measures as necessary _
- _Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of construction materials and equipment _
- _Manage inventory and oversee proper storage and handling of materials on-site _
- _Monitor project expenses and work closely with the project manager to stay within budget _
- _Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, work logs, and any changes made to the original plans _

**Requirements**:

- _Certified professional diploma in relevant field _
- _Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the construction field _
- _A valid Singapore driving license is required _
- _Having Certificate of BCA Supervisor safety course will be a plus_
