**Head of Data and Machine Learning**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing Data and ML team. Provide coaching and mentoring to the Data and ML team.
- Guide Data and ML architecture to ensure performance, security, and extensibility.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the company's roadmap for AI/ML.
- Work closely with the product team to design and deliver data pipelines and ML-based recommender systems that delights customers with personalised experience
- Work cross-functionally to operationalise ML models and serve inferences efficiently, which include automating data pipelines, ML pipelines, performance monitoring and testing.
- Be the evangelist for AI/ML through mentoring and technical/knowledge sharing.

**Requirements**:

- You have experience in creating, managing and coaching high performing engineering teams
- You possess at least 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering and ML engineering.
- You have programming experience in Python, Java, Pyspark and Scala.
- You possess knowledge of Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Hive, etc
- You have experience in building and optimizing Machine Learning models, ML pipelines, data pipelines and architectures.
- You have experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT or a related discipline

**Salary range**: SGD 200K - 240K annually
