We are seeking Urban Designers with a strong foundation in both urban design and architecture to support research-driven, sustainable, and human-centric projects. The role involves conceptual and detailed design, spatial analysis, and the development of master plans focusing on climate resilience, ageing-friendly environments, and blue-green-grey infrastructure. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create innovative and context-sensitive design solutions that enhance livability and environmental performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct spatial and contextual analysis through GIS mapping, site studies, and design research using our in-house Urban Milieu Mapping System

- Contribute to conceptual master planning, control and detailed plan, regeneration strategies, public realm design, especially with waterfront or industrial transformation projects.

- Integrate sustainable systems such as blue-green-grey infrastructure, passive design, and low-carbon frameworks into urban proposals.

- Participate in research on ageing-friendly, inclusive, and resilient urban environments, contributing to policy and design discourse.

- Develop design drawings, 3D models, and visualization materials using AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.

- Collaborate with architects, planners, and landscape designers to translate research and analysis into actionable design strategies.

- Prepare reports, diagrams, and presentations for internal and public reviews.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Urban Design or Master’s degree in Architecture with Urban Design as a major (e.g. NUS MAUD or equivalent).

- Strong analytical, research, and visualization skills.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

- Familiarity with GIS-based spatial analysis and mapping.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Passion for sustainable urbanism, participatory design, and adaptive city-making with familiarity on sustainability frameworks such as LEED Green associated certification.

- Fresh graduate welcome but preferable with working experience.

**Preferred Skills**:

- A good command of both urban design and architectural skills is preferred with strong foundation in urban-scale visioning.

- Experience in urban research, environmental design, or community engagement.

- Understanding of Singapore’s planning context, urban resilience, and public housing environments.

- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team-driven projects.
