**Objective of the Position**

To plan, direct and co-ordinate materials, warehouse and distribution functions for EB Singapore and to ensure the efficient and economical operation of supply chain management. Specific tasks include:

- Purchasing of raw materials and merchandise goods.
- Inventory management.
- Import and exports management.
- Demand and supply planning.
- Coordinate and cooperate with the toll manufacturer.
- Coordinate and cooperate regional supply chain initiatives.
- Responsible for co-ordination & management of stock with the toll manufacturer.

**Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
**Purchasing
**Plan to Strategy**:

- Understand business needs and requirements. Build up market expertise in the upstream, procurement and downstream markets (value chain).
- Understand market developments, trends and its impact. Provide forecast movement of key material’s pricing on credible information.
- Regularly analyze procurement conditions for key raw materials/packaging and initiate sourcing activities for alternatives to ensure competitive pricing. Avoid single source situations and correct them if necessary.
- Develop data on competitor intelligence relevant for the business.

**Source to Contract**:

- Prepare and execute Request for Quote (RfQ) within boundaries that are aligned with business (goods / services package, approach, business requirements, roles for negotiation, list of suppliers, alternatives to negotiated agreement).
- Negotiation & award contract: determine optimal negotiation / award alternative, award goods / services package to supplier(s) and align with functional hierarchy when required.
- Contract implementation & monitoring: manage contracts and decide on appropriate actions; inform relevant stakeholders about negotiation results; manage supply issues and/or sales allocation/force majeure situations in a transparent manner.
- Implement appropriate actions for end to end (E2E) margin management.
- Submit necessary documents from suppliers to complete master data processes.
- Update /approve Outline Agreement/Contract/ PO in SAP.
- Support regional and global initiatives.

**Inventory Control**
- Manage the Logistics function to ensure the implementation and monitoring of effective inventory control procedures and methods.
- Review and analyse inventory data, co-ordinate root cause analysis for discrepancy investigations and manage stock adjustments.
- Review surplus stock reports, coordinate locally as well with region to improve inventory levels, inventory health checks and direct implementation of corrective measures.
- Manage min / max stock levels for plants and warehouses.
- Maintain SAP master data as required.
- Achieve agreed DIV, OIV, Expired and Aging Stocks target.

**Supply Chain Process Development**
- Contribute to the development of the MBCC supply chain process including implementation of global and regional supply chain initiatives. Ensure close collaboration with sales and supply chain team in the development process.
- Recommend and evaluate areas for improvement on transport services, freight costs reduction, delivery consolidation effort, etc and yet able to maintain the same or improved standards of performance.
- Follow up queries from sales with respect to new business or negotiating better rates in return for increased volumes.

**Supply Chain Planning**
- Drive S&OP process to monitor performance and delivery best results.
- Manage the planning of raw materials, packaging and merchandise products to achieve target inventory levels and production schedule requirements.
- Expedite vendors to ensure deliveries and terms are met according to purchase order.
- Collaborate with Procurement for support on Commercial requirement.
- Manage and analyse sales and forecast data to determine demand in conjunction with key sales and marketing functions.
- To manage any deviation for escalation to higher management.

**Logistics**
- Ensure First in First Out (FIFO) principles are applied by the toll manufacturer.
- Liaise with Customs Broker to ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
- To align with management prior to roll out new import export regulation/requirement to ensure smooth transition.
