About the Team

SS&C Intralinks is the leading worldwide Fintech SaaS solution for the global banking, deal-making and capital markets communities. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives who are working directly with our largest deal-making clients enabling some of the most strategic and most highly visible transactions in the business world.

At SS&C Intralinks, we develop relationships with both Advisory (Investment Banks & Law Firms) and Corporate Development professionals (Fortune 1000 corporate dealmakers). We provide business value to customers by providing solutions that enable mission critical mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises and corporate restructuring, and other strategic transactions.

**Role Overview**:
The Director of Strategic Initiatives and Channels is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the company's strategic agenda through the identification, development, and execution of key strategic initiatives and the optimization of various go-to-market channels. This role requires a highly strategic and analytical thinker with a proven track record of leading complex projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving measurable results. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, translate them into actionable plans, and ensure successful implementation across relevant channels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Initiative Development & Execution**:

- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic initiatives aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth strategy.
- Lead the development of detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery, and proactively mitigating risks.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

**Channel Strategy & Optimization**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategies to maximize market reach, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across various channels (e.g., direct sales, partnerships, online, retail).
- Analyze channel performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing channels and explore new and innovative channel opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment of channel strategies with overall business goals.
- Develop and manage relationships with key channel partners, ensuring mutual success and adherence to agreements.

**Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration**:

- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with leaders across different departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations) to drive alignment and ensure successful execution of initiatives and channel strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional working groups and project teams to achieve common goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and buy-in.

**Market Analysis & Insights**:

- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats relevant to strategic initiatives and channel development.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations and strategic adjustments.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in strategic planning and channel management.

**Team Leadership & Development**:

- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team (if applicable), fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Identify training and development needs for team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business development, channel management, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully
