**Role responsibilities**:

- Install and maintain Drive-by-Wire system hardware for autonomous control of a vehicle
- Install and maintain a fully functional sensor suite necessary for an autonomous vehicle (AV)
- Install and maintain a custom compute system for an autonomous vehicle
- Work with vendors and OEMs to integrate the Drive-by-Wire, Sensor Suite, and Custom Compute into their systems
- Debug issues across the AV system wire harnesses and electrical components
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory processes for the hardware team and related workshop areas
- Produce and develop detailed documentation for testing, maintenance procedures, and hardware team processes
- Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment

**Required experience**:

- Higher Nitec/Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or related fields
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in automotive, aerospace, marine, robotics, electro-mechanical, or similar working experience
- Fabrication skills including but not limited to wire harness creation, custom fixturing, metal reworking, and basic custom electrical setups and their respective safety requirements.
- Ability to proficiently read and interpret test instructions, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and network diagrams
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and board debugging, including use of multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Familiarity with process documentation

**Bonus experience**:

- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
- Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks, or towing tractors
- Experience with real world robotics deployment
- Experience with sensors such as lidar, cameras, radars
- Experience with CANbus, ethernet, and other vehicle networks
- Familiarity with Linux OS
