The APAC Consulting Team helps clients solve complex business problems and build distinct advantages for their location strategies and real estate portfolios using our holistic approach of rigorous analytics and market insights.

The Team is looking for a consultant to support the Data Center function in conducting a variety of analyses - primary and secondary research. The role will advise and inform clients in making critical business decisions such as investment feasibility, location strategy, infrastructure review, risk assessment and market entry solutions. Clients comprise a mixture of investors, developers, operators and end-users.

The Data Center function is part of the APAC Consulting Team, a group of specialist consultants offering services such as labor and location analytics, retail consulting and portfolio planning across the APAC region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct independent primary and secondary market research, working with internal and external partners
- Create reports and analysis that support strategic data center investment and location decisions and risk & infrastructure reviews
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends in the data center sector across key Asia Pacific markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive outcomes and to ensure timely submission of deliverables for clients
- Support the pitching process and client presentations where assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Finance or Real Estate
- Minimum: At least 3-6 years of experience in consulting or market research

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience of working in the data center industry (ideal) including familiarity with collocation agreements, real estate evaluation, acquisition, development, construction, power utilities, energy considerations
- Experience managing projects and timelines within the Asia Pacific region
- Familiarity with macro factors such as economic policy and infrastructure development
- Financially literate with strong attention to detail, financial modelling skills useful
- Ability to think creatively and provide commercial solutions
- Account/client management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
