Manager (Corporate Finance) Finance & Resourcing

**What the role is**
- You will be supporting the Finance and Resourcing Directorate which is embarking on a Corporate Finance Transformation journey, through finance business partnering, controls review and process streamlining/automation.
**What you will be working on**
- Process finance transactions in compliance with internal policies and guidelines to relevant government IMs, including payment/billings and the processing of procurement requests. - Provide advisory to directorates on budget related matters, such as fund requests, declaration of unutilised funds, budget utilisation reporting, highlight key risk areas and distilling insights for effective budget planning and management - Supports other key corporate finance functions such as preparation and management of SNDGG’s Budget under MOF’s Block Budget framework; internal and external audit process. - Design and implement sound accounting and finance processes and controls, ensuring SOPs are documented and kept updated - Providing support in the Corporate Finance Transformation process, by building automated dashboards for reporting and controls monitoring, and streamline/automate existing finance processes - Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned
**What we are looking for**
- Good organisational skills, meticulous, numerically inclined, strong analytical capabilities - Knowledge in management accounting principles, with 2 or more years of experience in corporate finance function. - Experience in consolidating large volume of data, with good MS Excel skills - Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills - Working knowledge of data visualisation software (e.g. Power BI and Tableau) - Familiarity with public sector finance system and budgeting will be an advantage
