Team Lead of Supply Planning Asia

AIM OF THE MISSION ______________________ The Supply Planning Team Lead Asia will be part of the Global supply chain team FMT (Fluid Management Technology) with main objectives: to plan, control and optimize the replenishment of Finished goods (materials) for Sartorius Distribution centres in Asia zones and improve service level to customers by ensuring product availability and securing optimal inventory levels. SITUATION WITHIN THE STRUCTURE ______________________ The Team Lead of Supply planning Asia will report to the EMEA/Asisa Supply planning manager in the organization lead by the Head of Global supply FMT. MAIN TASKS ______________________________ In this role she/he will be responsible for leading a team of Supply planners for: - Inventory planning and replenishment management (finished goods and subcontracting) for Sartorius Distribution centres network (EMEA/ASIA) with main tasks to: - execute SAP MRP in accordance with standard business procedures and inventory policies - analyze and resolve MRP messages to release new purchase orders - create purchase orders/stock transfers to replenish Distribution centers - manages Purchase orders by tracking delivery dates with internal/external suppliers - Ensuring product availability and improve service level for our customers: - anticipate and maintain inventory levels based on demand planning forecasts inputs - identify potential material shortages and works with Manufacturing site and Purchasing to improve situation - support Global Inventory team in defining and settings safety stock - Contribute to Global S&OP and actively drive optimization process in terms of continuous improvement - create and implement various reports (KPIs, out of stock, slow movers, phase out planning, gap analysis etc.) in order to provide visibility on material planning - works cooperatively with planning community and manufacturing locations - up-date SAP parameters to enable good utilization of MRPs in alignment with relevant supply chain flows PROFILE ______________________ - Business degree with a focus on Supply chain/Logistics/Procurement or similar - 3-5 years of professional experience in the areas of supply chain, logistics or production planning - Good understanding of complex logistics and planning processes, experience in Biotech, Pharma or Automotive business is a plus - Ideally to have operational experience of SAP systems (MRP,MM, BW etc.) - Efficient and customer-oriented communication skills, able to work under pressure - Familiar with data analysis, think analytically, proceed in a structured manner - Willing to travel up to 20% of the time - Language: fluent Business English is required, Spanish/French/German is a plus
