R&d Senior Associate

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Lead technical developments on key personal care initiatives for Reckitt’s Dettol brand by leveraging prior experience/expertise to help drive pipeline growth.
- Oversee a small technical team on all aspects of development including PC products formulation, processing, manufacture/scale-up and R&D capability in region.
- Lead and advance multiple projects through the product development process
- Support formulation development on key initiatives including lab formula batching, batching of products for consumer tests, etc.
- Design and execute pilot and full scale manufacturing method, in line with Supply Technical team validate new processes by ensuring that they can be properly controlled and reproduced in manufacturing plants
- Provide guidance and support the formulators with the transition of small-scale laboratory method into commercially viable large-scale process. Lead any trouble-shooting activities in the post-launch phase.
- Partner with key functions - R&D, supply, regulatory, Medical to continuously improve manufacturing methods and define global standards for brands
- Work cross-functionally and lead project teams to achieve key milestones and objectives
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop, prioritize and execute project portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters/Degree level (Chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or other relevant science)

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 6-10 years R&D experience with a proven track record of delivery.
- Experience of working in cosmetic formulation environment is desirable.
- Strong technical background in personal care formulation and processing.
- Proven Project Management skills
- Results-oriented and self-motivating
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a cross functional environment including marketing, supply, procurement, regulatory, clinical and legal team
- Oral & written communication skills to effectively provide feedback to reporting manager and cross functional team members
- Global mindset, commercial understanding of corporate & operational business issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically, develop tactics and measurable implementation plans and able to transform solid thinking into action.
