**Role Overview**
Our client, an established Corporate Services & Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced **Accounting Director**to lead their accounting function and manage service delivery for our external client base. This role involves overseeing client financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in accounting practices and client service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Oversee the preparation of client financial statements, management reports, and tax filings
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for all accounting matters
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Review and enhance internal controls and financial processes
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, pricing strategies, and client onboarding
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals

**Key Requirements**
- ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within a professional or corporate services environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong client-service orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency with accounting software and systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
