Tasks

**Technical Responsibility and Tasks**:
EE Design
- EE HW development project planning, tracking and management
- Solution selection and circuit design. Generate BOM, HW/SW Interface Sheet, and coordinate PCB build and assembly.
- Electrical System Architecture study and revision.
- Electronic component selection with design-to-cost approach, Electronic simulation, worst-case calculation, design FMEA(IQ-FMEA), Layout FMEA, Thermal calculations/measurements
- Conduct and/or contribute to Engineering Design Reviews, Documentation and drawing/specification release.
- Analysis of Automotive customer specification and internal requirements as the basis for the design.

Sample Build
- PCB fabrication and EE BoM creation
- Handling of EE components for sample build
- Plan, build and deliver prototypes (PCBA) and HW prototype bring up (HW debug and failure analysis)

Test And Validation
- Specifies the electronic modules and setup EE test plans/concepts (Prototype, EMC, LTT, EOL)
- EE Test & Verification (switch, load box, power supply /oscilloscope / signal generator).
- Life time testing/reliability testing, environmental testing, EMC/ESD for DV/PV.

Cross Discipline
- Collaborate with SW developer, System test, Mechanical designer and Quality management Teams.
- Liaise with purchasing, suppliers and vendors for technical discussions.

**Qualifications**:

- 3~5 years relevant work experience in the field of EEHW development (automotive background is advantageous)
- More than 10 years relevant work experience in the field of EE HW for automotive may be considered for a senior position
- Circuit design and development using eCAD tools
- System block diagram creation and interpretation
- Circuit analysis, calculation and simulation
- Signal analysis and bus communication protocols
- LV power supply design (LDO and DC-DC)
- Test measurement equipment setup and use (multimeter, oscilloscope, programable power supply, e-loads, thermal chambers)

- EMC concept, test and analysis
- MathCAD tool for calculation
- Test automation
- Technical Analysis : DFMEA, FTA, DFM, DRBFM
- Power / Thermal analysis
- Communication protocols: Ethernet, CAN, LIN, SPI
- Wireless communication knowledge: Bluetooth, RF and LF
- High speed signal design and analysis
