**Job Summary**:
As a Barista at Lou Shang, you will be the face of our café, creating expertly crafted coffee and other beverages that delight our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in drink preparation and presentation while providing exceptional service. This role is perfect for someone who loves the art of coffee-making and thrives in a fast-paced, engaging environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Beverage Crafting**:Prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espressos, lattes, cold brews, drip coffee, cocktails following standard recipes and maintaining consistency.
- **Guest Interaction**:Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and sharing your knowledge of our beverages.
- **Quality Control**:Ensure all beverages meet our high standards of taste, quality, and presentation before serving.
- **Menu Innovation**:Assist in developing new and exciting coffee-based beverages that align with Lou Shang’s modern local-inspired concept.
- **Bar & Equipment Maintenance**:Maintain a clean and organized coffee station and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- **Inventory Management**:Monitor and manage inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, placing orders as needed.
- **Customer Service**:Handle guest inquiries and feedback with a positive attitude, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
- **Team Collaboration**:Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth café operations, especially during peak hours.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Barista in a café or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and espresso-based beverages.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to continually learn and develop your skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
