**Responsbilities**:

- Ensure that all lifting operations adhere to safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for lifting personnel.
- Oversee the maintenance and inspection of lifting equipment, such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
- Schedule and coordinate equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance requirements.
- Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan lifting operations, taking into account project timelines and requirements.
- Develop lift plans and risk assessments for each lifting operation.
- Calculate load capacities and determine the appropriate equipment for each task.
- Supervise and lead a team of lifting operators and riggers.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure the competence of the lifting team.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals for lifting operations from relevant authorities.
- Maintain documentation, including lift plans, permits, and equipment records.
- Keep detailed records of all lifting activities and incidents.
- Monitor lifting operations to ensure precision and accuracy in load placement.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that loads are secure and properly positioned.
- Address any issues or deviations from the lift plan promptly.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with crane operators, signal persons, and spotters during lifting operations.
- Report progress and issues to project managers and superiors.
- Develop emergency response plans for lifting-related incidents.
- Ensure all lifting personnel are trained in emergency procedures.
- Act swiftly and decisively in the event of an accident or emergency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lifting operations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Conduct post-operation debriefs and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for lifting personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the lifting team.

**Requirements**:

- Must be have Lifting Supervisor Course
- Must be have advance certificate in Lifting Operation Course.
- Comprehensive understanding of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and slings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting lift plans, load charts, and rigging diagrams.
- Stay updated on the latest regulations and guidelines related to lifting operations in Singapore.
- Familiarity with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other relevant legislation
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safety are essential qualities for a Lifting Superintendent.
