Senior Research Scientist

A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a motivated Senior Research Scientist to conduct cutting-edge research in the topic of “Green Cloud Computing”.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing physics-based and data-driven models to characterize dynamics of the interconnected data center systems, including computing, cooling and electric supply;-
- Supervising junior graduate students;- Writing technical reports, including papers, patents and technical disclosures;- Working closely with team members/engineers and assist in developing new features;-
- Diagnosing the issue and resolving it on demand.
Job Requirements:
- PhD Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, control and science engineering, information system or a related discipline;- At least 2 - 3 years’ work experience in relevant areas;- Strong research record, preferably on top-tier computer science/engineering conferences or journals;- Proficiency with Python and relevant packages, like NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch or Tensorflow;- Experience in other programming languages, like C/C++, MATLAB- Excellent verbal communication skills and good problem solving skills;- Attention to detail.
