**Descriptive Job Title**:Futures - Cash and Control **Officer Title: Analyst** **Job Summary **_(239 characters or less)_**: Futures Operations in Singapore is responsible for monitoring and meeting margin calls from Exchanges throughout the APAC region. The team is responsible for ensuring that adequate funds are available for meeting these calls and that the instructions are issued within the deadlines enforced by the Exchanges. The team also oversees our Team in India in the completion of reconciliations from the Banks books and Records to balances at the Exchanges, Brokers and Inter Company Affiliates. **Job Description paragraph 1**_ (1000 characters or less)_**: **Cash and Control team** - Daily monitoring and processing of margin calls on the Futures business - Management of Funding requirements - Oversight of Balance Sheet accounts pertaining to the APAC Futures business - Liaison with Finance regarding applicability and validity of monthly Adjustments - Execution of collateral asset movements - Adherence to key processes and control requirement - Investigate and reconcile for discrepancies with counterparties valuations - Improvement of daily processing to increase efficiency - Participation in the implementation of strategic projects and user acceptance testing Ensure Standard Operating procedures are up to date and cover all functions **Job Skills/Qualifications paragraph 1 **_(1000 characters or less)_**: Knowledge/Skills/Experience - Exposure/understanding of Futures. - Experience of using APAC Futures Exchanges margin portals - Ability to learn quickly on the job and work to high levels of accuracy - Ability to understand current process and suggest efficiency improvements and where robotics might be used - Be able to work independently and able to deliver under time constraints - Ability to identify possible risk and escalate when necessary - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to organize workload to meet various settlement cut off times. - Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours when necessary, meeting workloads. - Effective Team player. - PC literate.
