Enterprise Network Lead

**Position Overview**:The Enterprise Network Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of an organization's network infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of network engineers, ensuring network security, and optimizing network performance to support business operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Network Design and Implementation**:Develop and implement network solutions that meet business requirements, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networks.
- **Team Leadership**:Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- **Network Security**:Ensure the security of the network by implementing and maintaining security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- **Performance Optimization**:Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation and mínimal downtime.
- **Troubleshooting**:Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize impact on business operations.
- **Vendor Management**:Collaborate with vendors to procure network equipment and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- **Documentation**:Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- **Compliance**:Ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**:Extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- **Certifications**:Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.
- **Skills**:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, proficiency in network security protocols and technologies.
**Desired Skills**:
- Knowledge of recent network and security technologies.
- Experience with routing and switching.
- Familiarity with datacenter networking and Ethernet networks.
- Ability to manage network health, capacity, and lifecycle.
