Manager - IT Infrastructure

As an IT Project Manager (Infrastructure), you will be responsible for the following:

- Managing and planning on offshore and outsourcing IT projects for the organization.
- Developing strategic plans to achieve project objectives.
- Working with the technical teams on development and maintenance.
- Providing advice to stakeholders on various infrastructure developments.
- The Successful Applicant As a successful applicant you will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience of managing infrastructure projects.
- Experience in managing Avaya projects and would also have post sales experience.
- PRINCE2 ,PMP or CITPM certification will be good to have. Prior experience in managing government projects will be advantageous.
- Microsoft Windows and server OS.
- Identify infrastructure goals and project delivery clearly.
- Define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives.
- Identify needed members for project team.
- Record document concisely and clearly all project plan.
- Identify prime risks and limitations within project plan.
- Evaluate and determine plan variance from project performance.
- Oversee precise project results to identify if relevant quality standards area attained.
- Collect and present performance information related to infrastructure projects.
- Identify prospective conformance and rigid concerns associated with project initiatives.
- Identify probable impact to associates, clients and shareholders.
- Conduct change throughout project inclusive of schedule, scope and team membership.
- Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates across entire business units along with management levels.
- Identify prime cause of contention or disagreement plus recommend corrections as necessary.Ensure to capture, prioritize and solve project problems in organized manner.
- Plan, execute and manage the IT Infrastructure projects with the objective to support the Bank’s IT Infrastructure.
- Responsible for project managing IT Infrastructure Projects
- Responsible for project related procurement. Follow through the procurement process and manage the procurement timeline to ensure no delay in project delivery
- Plan project deliverable milestones and detail tasks.
- Manage all tasks execution and ensure they are delivered within timeline and budget
- Prepare and manage user communication during project implementation
- Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans and escalation plan
- Ensure all required project documentation are developed and file according to standard guideline
- Ensure completion of all project closure activities leading to smooth hand over of infrastructure to operation team for day 2 support

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields
- At least 10 years IT infrastructure project management experience
- Proven track records in managing infrastructure projects involving end users coordination work
- Preferably with hand on support experience in managing end user computing, system, networking and security infrastructure
- Well organized, good time management skill
- Result oriented, customer focus with strong communication skill to communicate effectively with audience commanding different degree of IT knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team, with good initiative to learn and deliver
- Good contract and vendor management skill

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
