Advising government agencies or specific industries on environmental standards and policies
- Managing or coordinating environmental protection projects and programs
- Assessing the current or potential impact that land use projects will have on the environment
- Creating and presenting environmental compliance training to companies or communities
- Inspecting municipal or industrial facilities to ensure operational safety and effectiveness and that the programs being used are in compliance with environmental regulations
- Detailed design of process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including screening equipment, physical-chemical treatment plants, biological treatment plants, blower equipment, odour control plants, disinfection plants, sludge treatment plants, desalination process, etc.
- Detailed design of ancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and drainage systems.
- Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
- General Arrangement and equipment layout drawings.
- Preparation of process equipment specifications.
- Review and evaluation of vendor submissions.
- Coordination with other disciplines e.g. civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, building services, instrumentation & control designers and digital water specialists.
- Able to lead meetings, HAZOP, discussions with clients, contractors and vendors.
- Provide engineering support for bids & proposals.
- Prepare testing and commissioning plans
- Process Testing & Commissioning
- Keeping abreast with latest development in water treatment technology and suitably applies in the design

**Requirements**:

- Expertise in water / wastewater treatment process modeling and optimization (including biological treatment).
- Possess knowledge of wastewater treatment processes such as Activated Sludge, SBR, MBR & MBBR/IFAS.
- Experience in preparing PFDs/P&IDs and specifications for procurement of water and wastewater process equipment.
- Proven ability to manage diverse and large scale water projects, prioritize tasks, effectively.
- Utilize available resources and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Proficient in written and oral communication with good interpersonal skills.
