Singapore INDECO ENGINEERS (PTE) LTD Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as an independent site supervisor who represents the Employer to check on works by Design & Build contractors and other specialist contractors, notwithstanding them having their own site supervisors registered under the Building Control Act and regulations.
- Carry out inspections, site supervision to ensure that all works (including structural works, M&E and architectural works) are carried out as per approved specification & drawings with the approved material and the appropriate sequent and method.
- Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and Employer's requirements.
- Work closely with Employer’s project manager, Architect, Professional Engineers, and contractors to provide planning, design, and supervision leadership not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects.
- Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
- Watch for faulty workmanship and material incorporated in the works and to issue instructions for rectifications.
- Carry out supervision of structural & geotechnical works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site.
- Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works.
- Ensure critical construction details are met to prevent any latent defects that may affect the building life cycle and/or building maintenance cost in the long run.
- Attend site progress and technical meetings with the project team and Employer to resolve site and technical issues.
- Verify reports and claims submitted by Builder.
- Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, i.e., test records, inspection forms, site meeting minutes, method of statements, shop drawings, as built drawings, operation, and maintenance manuals etc., are well managed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Employer from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Possess relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree/diploma from a recognised University/Polytechnic or equivalent.
- Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES-ACES Joint accreditation Committee (JAC)
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of Resident Technical Officer experience in supervision of industrial / logistics development with strong knowledge of driven/bored piling, RC structures, structural steel, and local construction practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
- Good supervisory and leadership skills.
- Possess effective communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
