KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Finance Manager - UI FBP (ANZ) will cover the following geographies/portfolio - ANZ, Singapore for a start and will be critical in performing the following responsibilities:
- Operational/Financial Processes: The role will lead finance business partnering and operational processes. He/She needs to actively coordinate with the appropriate Unilever stakeholders to accelerate business performance.- Performance Management: He/she will be actively participating in driving growth and profitability, pricing decisions, managing risk, challenging business teams, managing costs across all geographies and P&L drivers; reviewing actuals vs forecast, and flagging key issues to promote accountability and picking early warning signals to drive opportunities. Drive Internal Operational Planning, Marketing Activity Planning, and Pricing Decisions. Prepare all rolling forecasts and business plans for both brands/channels/geographies. Ensure efficient Working Capital via Debtors Management procedures: Claims, Invoicing review, and outstanding items.- There will also be a specific responsibility to manage the relationship with the 1ANZ LT and ANZ BG LT.- Financial Reporting: He/she will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day Finance and Accounting operations and Global Reporting in various geographies are duly performed OTIF. This includes ensuring the timely preparation of financial and management reports.- Manage month-end activities: Monthly forecasting, Month-end review, Analysis, Drive Insights and Actions with a focus on Growth, Efficiency of investments (ROMI), Portfolio Mix, Pricing, and Costs.- Controls: Ensure financial records follow accepted policies, procedures, and external/SOX control requirements. Ensure robustness of internal controls including clear segregation of duties, disciplined implementation of a schedule of authority, robust payment approval/verification process, credit assessment, and budgetary system.- Support in integration and analysis of new business opportunities and Projects, including but not limited to Financial Flow Modelling, Operational Setup, Business case, and KPIs.- Develop close working relationships with the Global UI Finance team and share best practices across the broader UI finance team.

Business partner business development teams (BDD / BDM / ABDM / CD Operations / Customer Service teams)

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in various Finance roles: FA, SCF, FBP.- In-depth knowledge of Operational / Financial Processes: Master data management, Credit Management Policies; Debtors management; Brand & Marketing investments, Claims and reconciliations; Balance sheet reconciliation.- Experience in one of the Business partnering roles: Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing- Commercial support and decision support (including preparing financial models and ROI analysis)- Experience in Investment evaluation, analysis, and KPIs.- Strong Analytical capabilities with a bias to Drive Action.- Amenable to working in ANZ or Singapore time zones- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, SAP, and BW Operational Knowledge- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- A mature and highly credible individual with solid business and financial acumen- Flexibility and comfortable working in a fast-paced matrix reporting environment- ability to operate independently and in a fast-paced environment- Ability to earn respect and trust from senior management- Self-driven, forward-looking, and results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus- Diligent and willing to be hands, ‘roll up your sleeves’
