Job Description
**You are the key driver in ensuring a smooth transit operation of all incoming and outgoing transit cargo, in order to on-forward to the respective sales markets. You are responsible for all transit related issues covering all brands and channels in the group-controlled supply chain - operating and developing transit processes with optimized efficiency, accuracy and quality. Together with global transit team you develop the transit setup in order to cope with the ongoing expansion and business development in sales countries.**

**_ Key responsibilities (but not limited to):_**
- Managing the industrial relations between H&M and the service provider management in line with all agreements.
- Responsible for all planning, budgeting, accurate cost follow up and sets clear goals to optimize results.
- Working with analysis, calculations, reports and controlling tools.
- Drive operational efficiency by supporting the service provider management and by controlling their results (some travelling is required).
- Oversees all volume planning and forecasting.
- Ensure and control that safety, security and administration procedures are set at appropriate levels and strict adhered to.
- Work actively with our values, talent identification, staff development and succession planning.
- Ensure and monitor all daily tasks performed by the H&M core Transit office team.
- Manages and executes recruiting, training, developing and succession planning for the local transit office team.
- You make business interaction and teamwork across different business function and subsidiaries in order to ensure the best trade business solutions - especially with the global IMPEX team and both global and local service providers.

- Self-driven, well-structured and good at delivering results.
- Leadership experience/quality and a natural team player with straightforward communications skills.
- Strong planning and analytical skills - figure minded.
- Experience in leading a 3PL for the transit warehouse operation (3PL is based in TPP, MY).
- Experience in customs formalities and familiar with local Customs rules and regulations.
- Good knowledge in international shipping (sea and air).
- Good IT knowledge (Microsoft office).
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Fit for a fast paced, high pressure and deadline sensitive environment.

Additional Information

This position is based in Singapore and will report to the Global Impex / Transit Manager.
