**General Description**

The Business Finance team within Finance is the go-to business financial advisor in management reporting and is responsible for providing value-added financial insights and analytics. The key is to drive performance, resource allocation and performance tracking across the entire bank, ensuring that the various functions are delivering on their productivity and efficiency targets.

**Responsibilities**
- A key business partner providing meaningful and value-adding performance/financial insights to support business decisions.
- Timely consolidation and preparation of reports, business reviews for management.
- Involvement in month-end closing processes relating to MIS data.
- Playing a pivotal role in the annual budgeting process/annual proposal and curation of specific units' Key Performance Indicators framework, ensuring alignment back to the overall bank-level strategic goals.
- Facing-off with senior stakeholders to drive sales management/efficiency actions as well as to monitor the progress of Key Performance Indicators for resource optimisation outcomes.
- Designing and building Insights Power BI dashboards to facilitate the driving of sales management actions as well as the monitoring of productivity and efficiency progress versus targets.
- Working with internal stakeholders (e.g. Cost Management and Data) to ensure access to usable data necessary to track performance and progress.
- Streamlining internal workflow and processes on an ongoing basis to achieve greater efficiency.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in Business Finance within the banking industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with senior management.
- Independent and hands on at work.
- Takes initiatives in streamlining processes and driving automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Globus T24 systems and SQL programming preferred.
- Prior experience in Product Management/IT Project Accounting/Cost Control an advantage.
- CFA / CPA an advantage.
