Our business area comprises of a number of functions and Hubs working globally supporting the entire client journey. We support processes from onboarding new clients, transaction processing, derivatives, daily oversight of the Funds Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensuring that we meet all our Client, Fund and regulatory obligations.

**The programme**

You will join Schroders as a permanent employee and start your career in our Operations Academy, which currently runs for two years. During this time you will study for your CISI Level 3 - Investment Operations Certificate, learn on the job and have access to a wide range of soft skill training courses.

**The team**

The Investment Support Team provides support to the Investment and Trading Teams in the Schroders Asset Management Business and works with teams across Schroders to implement change. The team aims to enable business growth, make data improvements, manage risk and simplify the business. A part of the wider Investment Support team, the Singapore based Investment and Trading Support team completes a range of support functions across Trading and Cash Management areas for the APAC region.

**Responsibilities**

As an Investment and Trading Support Analyst this role will rotate between two key areas:
The Cash Management function includes:

- Active coverage of trade related FX generated through securities dealing
- Handling of ad hoc FX requests / special handling from Investment teams
- Handling queries from internal and external parties
- Ongoing monitoring of cash projections and independently undertake appropriate action to cover shortfalls or repatriate funds
- Initiation of Fixed Deposits and Money Market Securities for excess cash
- Handling FX Collateralisation queries for new portfolios and on an ad-hoc basis
- Perform FX Hedging and rollover for Investment teams
- Other ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager

The Trade Support function includes:

- Unit Trust dealing - own the execution process including troubleshooting and the implementation of new transfer agency relationships
- Trading Support post execution services - Supporting the trading desks within the APAC region to efficiently cancel and correct orders

The knowledge, experience and skills we are looking for:

- Degree graduate in either Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance discipline
- 1 year of experience in a Cash Management or Trade settlements related role but not a must
