**Compliance Advisory, APAC Vice President**

**Singapore**

As a Barclays Compliance Advisory - APAC Vice President, you will provide oversight on our Cross Border framework. Your key accountabilities will include providing advisory, supporting risk assessments, adherence to regulatory management programmes and policies and standards. You will also provide compliance advisory and oversight to all the BBPLC COO departments, with specific focus on Operations and Technology functions and you will be expected to take the lead in managing relations with selected teams within the BBPLC COO departments.

**What will you be doing?**
- Providing advice on compliance, conduct, reputational risks, including advice on Policy Standards, and related regulations to BBPLC COO functions
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to the Business, Compliance and other stakeholders on interpretation of Cross Border Licensing Issues, Regulation and Summary Guidance
- Tracking, monitoring, communicating, and consulting on changes in regulations and working with relevant project management teams and business representatives on implementation
- Assisting with the Business in strategic, impact discussions, including remediation or enhancement projects alert stakeholders to potential and emerging issues, escalating issues
- Providing technical advisory in relation to regulatory information request, incident reporting and supporting any regulatory inspection and remediation
- Leading periodic Conduct Risk reviews and verification checks of processes and controls in these teams to ensure adherence Compliance' policies and standards
- Representing Compliance in key control, governance forum, interact with industry bodies on rules and regulations

**What we’re looking for**:

- Degree in business or related discipline or equivalent, with significant years of compliance experience
- Good knowledge of the Financial Services regulatory landscape
- Ability to handle stakeholders, regulators while demonstrating a sound commercial and control mindset
- Has excellent interpersonal skills, and is an effective communicator and possess strength of character

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience working in a global organisation
- Practical experience of a Compliance or risk management role
- Experience around controls testing/design
