Measures of success
- In three months:
- Manage key partners & internal stakeholders to drive strategic results across a variety of key regional clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional units to ensure maximum leverage of in-house capabilities.
- Ensure ecommerce as a channel is fully embedded into the ways of working of both local and regional clients
In six months, you would have:
- Lead with compelling strategic vision that is in alignment with the Brand’s short and long-term goals and strategic plans.
Identify new channel opportunities in the ecommerce, Last Mile Delivery, Direct to Consumer space across APAC
- Implement strategy aggressively to drive revenue growth and market share across APAC.
- Identify and prioritize sales opportunities across APAC through partnership with cross-functional teams
In 12 months, you would have:
- Serve as inspiring leader for Mindshare ecommerce, helping to drive the present work and shape the future of ecommerce programs and promos, go-to-market plans, and the requirements behind tactical sales initiatives and overall business planning across the APAC region.
- Partner with our analytics team to develop deep insights on our clients business performance, core performance metrics, understand potential sales opportunities within regions/countries and design programs & promotion tactics to increase sales performance
- Provide regional perspectives and future requirements on the growth of commercial opportunities and digital platform strategy development.
- Become the ‘spokesperson’ for the practice having participated in external events to help build the profile of Mindshare
Responsibilities of the role:
- Formulating a clear execution strategy for driving revenue and maximizing market share through the development of operational plans, managing execution, and evaluating results
- Build and oversee a data-driven, long-term digital ecommerce roadmap that will positively impact the customer’s experience and the company’s strategic and financial goals
- Build on existing brand equity and continue to grow the online business across ecommerce marketplaces and retailers.
- Operates the region's Centre of Excellence for Ecommerce Managers, providing strategy planning and managing ecommerce sales accounts for both marketplaces and resellers.
- Manage the ecommerce platform performance. Identify new opportunities and enhancements to drive traffic and orders.
- Own the global project rollouts and prioritise the various business ecommerce projects.
- Build ecommerce capability throughout the organisation to ensure we do not build a silo culture of ecommerce
- Help us think beyond just the obvious platforms. Present innovations and developments in the ecommerce space to key client stakeholders and outline potential new ways of working to enhance the ecommerce search proposition across their business.
- Lead all ecommerce strategic initiatives, operational improvements and the implementation of digital ecommerce efforts.
- Roll out all necessary training across the APAC region for ecommerce in conjunction with the global ecommerce Teams
What you will need:
- You are degree qualified with at least 9 years’ commercial experience in ecommerce space. You would have a strong understanding of the ecommerce environment and consumers, as well as the possible technologies and vendors to support the continual growth. You would have demonstrated success in handling senior stakeholder engagement comfortably and also come with outstanding influencing skills to drive top-to-top conversations on growth agenda.
