Insworld Institute is a secondary school in Singapore teaching local and international students a British curriculum, adapted to suit the needs of the international learner.
We work only with small class sizes (4-12 students), allowing us to focus the needs of each individual learner.
**Chemistry Teacher**
Pearson Edexcel International A-Level
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Teach Chemistry at A-Level
- Maintain attendance and achievement and class management records
- Provide regular reports on student performance
- Attend meetings to review performance
- Act as Personal Tutor to students to monitor and academic progress
- High achievement on students result
- Good communication with students
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Help maintain high levels of student discipline
- Implement strategies to help ensure students achieve the best possible examination results
- Take an active role in the welfare of students at the School
- Take an active role in extra-curricular activities
- Be available to give extra tuition to students who require this assistance
- Undertake any other duties as directed
**Qualifications and Experience**
**Essential**
- Accredited by a university-Degree or Master in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Minimum 5 years of experience of teaching Pearson Edexcel Chemistry programmes at international GCSE and International A-Level
**Desirable**
- Experience of teaching Pearson Edexcel Biology/Physics/Maths programmes at Lower Secondary, International GCSE and International A-Level
- Experience of teaching international students using English as the medium of instruction
