Ocean Import Executive

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**
The incumbent will be working as an Ocean Import Executive. S/he must be providing a pro-active and comprehensive service to both Internal and External customers in all aspects on import freight forwarding services provided by the Company.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for maintaining the documentations for the company’s import activities
- Responsible for the permit declaration and transport documents required
- Responsible for handling import documentation formalities with carriers & Co-loaders
- Responsible for the handling of shipments, ensuring that any of the customer’s enquiries are answered
- In charge of liaising with the company’s vendors/suppliers for import shipments
- In charge of the preparation of billing invoice and performing invoice verification when required
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR SKILLS REQUIREMENT**
- Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in ocean freight forwarding operations
- Knowledge of cargo clearance permit declaration a plus
**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES**
- Meticulous, organized and willing to put the extra effort for tasks completion
- Independent with a keen sense for learning and adopting new skills
- Good team player with a good sense of urgency
**OTHERS**
- 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)
- Mon to Fri (8:30am to 5:30pm); Alt Sat (8:30am to 12:30pm)
