**PURPOSE OF ROLE**

This position takes the role of management reporting, financial reporting system controls, and financial analysis at Asia regional level. This position is expected to have broad exposure to the Asia management team.

This position is
a) to support Asia Finance management to make a decision
b) to give country Finance teams a set of guidance and timeline for management reporting
c) to get alignment with Group FP&A in HQ, and
d) to manage the Export market

The incumbent is to provide accurate, timely financial analysis with business insights and advice to stakeholders as a finance business partner.
**Job Description** Business Partnering**
- Business partnering and decision-making support for driving performance to achieve strategic and financial objectives
- Process Lead for strategic and annual planning, forecasting & performance management
- Drive for strong collaboration within Asia Region finance team - coach and train Asia Finance community for FPA deliverables
- Take leadership to optimize cross functional processes and collaboration to maximize impact on business, customers and teams

**B**usiness Partner for the Alliance Cluster**
- Act as key business partner to Strategic Alliance group which manages all export markets, support product launch analysis, work with commercial lead on pricing strategy to ensure sustainable profitability

**Management Reporting**
- Ownership of reporting suites for Santen Asia. Managing and consolidating reports in monthly /quarterly /yearly cycles. Responsible for commentary to assist commercial teams to get insight of the reporting cycles
- Implement and drive monthly financial review process at country level and champion its standardization
- Perform monthly forecast, annual budgeting, analyze data, variance analysis, consolidate commentaries for actuals and forecasts, support monthly reviews and provide valuable input for decision making
- Work across departments and countries to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget
- Propose and drive cost saving initiatives to business/functions at business unit level

**Project Management**
- Support Head of Finance, Asia and partner with business and functional teams in projects and strategic initiatives such as new business models, system implementation
- Lead and drive ad-hoc projects, as and when assigned

**Finance System Control**
- Develop front-end planning and reporting platform which is sanctioned by Global Finance
- Harmonize expense line items, ensure standardization of expense reporting code between ERP, Reporting Module alignment across Asia Region + Countries + Global Finance team
- Maintain and own process of Santen Asia reporting system. Act as the key user and point of contact between corporate HQ and regions to coordinate and implement upgrades and escalations point for systems issues
- Assist in the implementation of Global FP&A projects, contribute to setting of new Global, Region and Country KPI(s)
- Identify and implement KPI(s), performance management tools to measure and track business performance in the Region

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CA, CPA)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A and business partnership
- Pro-active, action and solution oriented
- Global and regional exposure is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good business acumen
- Deep knowledge of SAP Analysis for Office (AfO), SAP Business Planning and Consolidation Software (BPC), Microsoft Power BI,
- Good working knowledge on Xero, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred
