**Seed Genetics Analyst I**

The Seed Genetics Analyst is primarily involved in Conduct seed molecular genetic testing in row crops.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Planning and execution of genetic purity testing using protocols defined by global platform functions
- Ensure timely data reporting as per defined TAT by Product Supply Service Level Agreement
- Responsible for general lab equipment maintenance and lab areas, support in inventory management for overall operation effectiveness
- Work with Global platform functions for validation and implementation of new test protocols.
- Support new QC test and validation as per Global Genetic quality Assurance, establish testing protocols.
- Participate in Continual Improvement projects and implement best practice.
- Sustenance of QMS, ETS and Laboratory management systems.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Degree / Diploma in a life sciences, biotechnology or similar.
- Sound understanding of technical aspects of laboratory procedures (PCR, DNA exttraction).
- Self-organization, planning, reporting and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS office, familiar with Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS), lab data analysis software.
- Able to work under time pressure, sense of urgency and accuracy.
