**What You Will Do**:

- Implement, maintain and enhance the company’s information security strategy, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.
- Lead annual audit preparation, certification, and ongoing information security activities.
- Oversee the company’s response to security incidents, coordinating across teams to ensure timely resolution and documentation.
- Implement security controls across the company’s systems and processes to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits, and ensure prompt remediation of findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Product, Legal and Compliance, Services and Engineering, to integrate security into operational processes.
- Manage third-party security assessments and ensure vendor compliance with company security standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, technologies, and regulations to continuously evolve the company’s security posture.

**What You'll Bring to The Table**:

- Proven experience in managing security and compliance programs, with a successful track record of achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are required.
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SaaS platforms.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience building and managing security teams, along with cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and hands on technically.
- 10+ years of experience in information security
- Experience in highly regulated industries preferred.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and security trends, with a passion for continuous improvement in security practices.
- Experience with security audits, compliance programs, and vendor security management.
- Must be located in East Coast or Central Time Zone US.
