**Roles & Responsibilities**

The High-Performance Manager will be responsible for
- The effective coordination of Singapore Wushu Dragon & Lion Dance Federation (SWDLDF) national teams' programs (Taolu & Sanda) and athlete scholarships.
- The provision of administration services to SWDLDF coaches and program management staff.
- The co-management of Wushu National and Youth Team athlete’s training development, in concordance with high-performance plans stipulated by SWDLDF’s stakeholders.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- The High-Performance manager reports to the Federation’s CEO and has extensive daily interaction with the National Coaches, Wushu Chairperson, Carded Athletes, Parents, and respective schools & Polytechnics.
- The incumbent will be in direct contact with the SSI Sport Performance Manager (SPM), related Staff and/or the consultants employed by either SSI or SWDLDF, with the aim of improving the standards of the National Teams.
- The incumbent will work closely with SWDLDF Technical Manager (TM), Coaches and Wushu Chairman to ensure a cohesive and coordinated development of the athletes in the Wushu fraternity, with the aim to develop high-performing athletes for the Nation.
- The incumbent will be required to develop extensive and productive external working relationships with Singapore Sport Institute (SSI), Ministry of Education (MOE), Co
- curricular Activities Board (CCAB) and Singapore Sports School.
- The incumbent will be required to manage athletes’ day-to-day training environment and progress, including but not limited to:

- Feedback from athletes, coaches, teachers, and/or parents,
- Athletes mental and physical well-being, in consultation with SSI professionals,
- Athletes’ high-performance mindset,
- Coordinating with coaches on training plans for the purpose of updating the YPI and MYSP after discussion with the TM, PPM, and/or any relevant Staff or SSI professionals,
- Athletes’ professional conduct and behaviour,
- Referral to professionals where relevant (e.g. Injury, Strength & Conditioning, Sports Nutrition Planning, Mental well-being etc).
- Any other task as assigned by senior officers.

**Key Outcomes**
- To ensure the effective administration of the National Teams International programs including age-group squads.
- Provide assistance and support to the National Coaches in the operations and evaluations of the National Team, including monitoring of athlete performance and results.
- Provide support and advice to Wushu Chairperson, National Coaches, Carded Athletes and external clients regarding SWDLDF and SSI policy and procedures.
- Assist the National Coaches in the case of management of athletes
- Building effective working relationships with program partners, including national, educational, and Olympic sporting organizations.
- Meeting administrative reporting and compliance requirements and deadlines for the athletes.
- Responsible for working with the National Coaches in the planning and implementation of air travel, ground transportation and lodging for overseas competition and trainings.
- Establish and maintaining dedicated athlete and results database systems.
- Other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as determined by SWDLDF.
