**Key Responsibilities**
- As a Product Specialist in Singapore, work closely with Japan, Asia ex Japan and other Sales teams incl. intermediaries, retail and institutional investors to promote our in-house Asian investment capabilities, with a focus at least on Japan Equity or Asia Equity.
- Work closely with investment teams to assist sales in securing mandates for our in-house Japan or Asian capabilities and increase our assets under management, as well as retain current assets.
- Provide institutional level coverage and service for existing clients as well as prospects for our investment capabilities, including the provision of market related information, assisting in the creation of strategy marketing material and responses to RFPs.
- Work closely with investment teams and other functions to organise in-house client and distributor training programs of various formats and durations, from Japan and other regions.
- Arrange meetings for clients and visitors from Japan
- As a good team player, closely communicate with other product specialists globally to provide effective and value-added services to sales and clients
- This is a sales support role and does not entail the provision of financial advice or recommendations to clients.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial concepts and investment products.
- Expertise on Japan Equity or Asia ex Japan Equity. Experience on Asia Fixed Income is a plus.
- Must be self-reliant, resourceful and proactive, at the same time a team player who is able to operate credibly and leverage the firm’s resources and global infrastructure.
- Highly motivated individual with a commitment to excellence.
- Strong communication (written and oral in Japanese and English) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Bloomberg and eVestment etc.
