TECHNOLOGIES: Python, AWS, MongoDB, SQL Server, mySQL, Postman, and Jira. Working experience in Spark and Data Bricks is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Architect and implement product features and backend procedures to value and optimize client's marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to gain a deep understanding of our customer's needs, our product vision, gain alignment on product scope ahead of implementation, and understand requirements
- Implement unit and integrations tests to maintain confidence in our platform's stability
- Optimize code to improve performance and scalability and reduce infrastructure costs
- Break down product initiative requirements, identify dependencies and create implementation plans
- Create and maintain documentation of new features, frameworks and methodologies
- Mentor teammates through pair programming and feedback with code and architecture reviews. Mentor senior-level engineers for leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High proficiency in python
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques
- 7+ years of experience working in building ETL processes and data pipelines
- 3+ years of experience in a lead engineer role or equivalent
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases, asynchronous messaging architectural patterns
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- College degree in the area of computer science or an engineering discipline preferred
- Possess the ability to take a complex set of product requirements and deliver a finished product independently or by leading and coordinating a team of engineers
- Experience with consuming data and analyzing queries in an MPP data warehouse is a plus
