Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Director SEA Chilled / Country Head (Consumer) Singapore, you will provide functional leadership in Marketing & Sales Channel Functions and work closely with Distributor sales team, Marketing & Ecommerce teams to achieve both Short and Long term business goals.
**Role Purpose**:
- Drive Channel Sales Growth across SG Chilled and Ambient categories, with clear Sales and Marketing Strategy Plans
- Lead proactive Performance Management of Distributor sales and merchandising team, while ensuring merchandizing operation effectively executed based on 5P KPIs.
- Development and execution of Brand and channel Strategic Roadmap across brand and channel (including Ecommerce) portfolio.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales & marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the sales distribution targets are met.
- Work with the Country Head (Consumer) SG and SEA central marketing team, in the development and execution of a compelling long term brand vision, strategy (3-5 years+), growth platform, KPIs reflecting Innovation, new business development and category expansion opportunities & growth drivers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and respective marketing partners (media agencies etc) to prioritize resources and ensure execution of brand growth platforms effectively addresses differences in market maturity and product lifecycles. Set Global brand KPIs and Brand Health metrics aligned to Brand Strategy/ business goals and ensure regular review with the GCB Leadership team to collectively own any risk or opportunity.
- Work with Global Sales Capability Team to build Modern Trade Management capabilities with Distributor Key Account Team, including RGM, RTM & Joint Business Planning development with strategic key accounts.
- Partner with distributor team and supply chain team to Improve forecasting accuracy by channels and by accounts, and therefore ensuring inventory holding within its target levels at trade.
- Develop forecasting capability and align with marketing team.
- Ensure excellence in Sales Operations through effective ways of process management, data collection and analytics, systems deployment, reporting, etc.
- Develop new business opportunities using market intelligence on customer and competitor activity.
- Create business plan and communicate to leadership team and stakeholders for their alignment.
- Develop and maintain business relationship with key contacts with all channels including Distributor Sales and merchandizing team to ensure cost efficient business model.
- Lead Agency partnerships and cross functional team to deliver breakthrough communication/ engagement platforms and ideas
- Ensure effective translation of Big Idea across diverse media and channels in markets to support brand advocacy and deliver behavioural change. Ensure digital content is optimized and A&P investment is sufficient to scale opportunities.
- Assess new technologies collaborate to test and evolve marketing approach.
- Champion best practice development and sharing to embed “best in class” execution into business culture.
**Skills & Experience**:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing or business is preferred.
- Minimum 10-12 years of Sales & Marketing experience in the FMCG/ or Consumer Healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in driving high performance in managing distributor sales team, with strong fundamentals of RGM/RTM principles, with both financial and commercial acumen.
- Experienced in developing commercially grounded global / regional brand portfolio strategies and executing to world class standards.
- Strong strategic competence in defining marketing, eCommerce plans and growth strategies whilst influencing and leading cross functionally for their implementation.
- Experience in creation of brands, positioning and new break through creatives and media strategies or turnaround of brand will be a plus.
- Strong ability to bring to life the execution of Brand and Channel plan to deliver outstanding commercial results, with best in class execution.
