The Food Services Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and managing staff to deliver good food and beverage services. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a focus on maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Staff Management & Training**:
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff
- Ensure staff follows company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve staff performance.
- Manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for peak periods.
- **Customer Service & customer Relations**:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customers concerns and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
- Assist customers with ordering and ensure prompt and accurate order delivery.
- **Operational Oversight**:
- Oversee the flow of operations in the dining area, ensuring smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverages, ordering supplies as necessary.
- Ensure that food presentation, portioning, and overall quality meet the stalls standards.
- **Compliance & Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness at dining tables, restrooms, and staff areas.
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- **Financial & Reporting**:
- Assist in managing food and beverage costs, tracking sales, and monitoring labor costs.
Ensure proper cash handling procedures, including verifying receipts and handling credit card transactions.
