Division Overview
Strategy is at the core of the business of Adenza. A well-articulated and quantified strategy drives the attention and investment across the organization. The Regulatory Solution Strategy Division is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the sales organization and driving the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives for Adenza in partnership with multiple stakeholders across R/D, Finance, and Customer Success. The Presales sub-division delivers end-to-end activities to win new business with existing and new clients by working closely with every department to deliver high-quality responses and impactful presentations. The Product Marketing division organizes Go-To-Market activities and promotes the corresponding solutions to customers, prospects, and partners through all available media.

Team and Role Overview

**Responsibilities**:
Work with our Lead Products Managers to define product features and functional requirements - interpreting global and regional (EBA, MAS, MABS, APRA, US Fed, etc) regulations to extract capital and liquidity calculation rules and reporting requirements
Summarise, refactor, and extrapolate from regulatory publication's high-level business process and business logic requirements into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
Write Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) that breakdown requirements into clear and cohesive business logic and designs (of cubes, dashboards, and other user interactions) which can serve as the business for software development
Interrogate and challenge business existing operational paradigms and business use cases to look for optimizations and improvements, incorporating these into the requirements and specifications you produce
Collaborate with the Application Development team to ensure the functional goals of our software are always captured and business user experience is considered
Provide guidance on the creation of test scenarios to the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the full suite of functional as well as non-functional use cases are validated
Review test case results and provide feedback, make necessary specification enhancements, or support code changes to address issues
Monitor regulatory updates and assess the impact and necessary updates to Adenza regulatory solutions
Participate as SME support in sales and pre-sales, as well as providing SME input into marketing initiatives, driving the creation of publications, blogs, content for webinars, and more
Skills And Requirements
Strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience of Basel BCBS rules or at least one regional specific derivation (e.g., EBA CRR rules) in the Liquidity or Capital domain. Should be able to lead a discussion on data requirements and calculation rules around a topic such as Credit risk (EAD calculations, CRM, RWA - Standardised or IRB), Leverage Ratio, CVA, LCR and NSFR, LMT / ALMM, Asset Encumbrance
Strong knowledge of regulatory risk reporting (EBA COREP or similar) requirements, being able to name and explain some templates relevant to functional domains listed above
A good understanding of key banking products - bonds, loans, guarantees, collateral, repos, reverse repos, derivatives
Experience working as a business analyst in financial services (Asset Managers, Banks, Hedge funds, Brokerage Firms, Clearing companies) or related vendor in a Regulatory Risk/Compliance role/team
Ability to interpret complex regulatory publications and write detailed functional documentation that clearly and comprehensively breaks down business requirements into articulate data inputs, processes, and expected outputs/functionalities
Collaboration and communication aptitude necessary to share complex ideas succinctly and accurately both in written and verbal forms

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, and MS Excel
