**Who We Are**

Da Paolo Group is a Singapore-grown Food & Beverage company established in 1989. To this day, it remains a family-run business committed to offering honest Italian food across 10 outlets. We are looking for an experience Head Chef to helm and run our restaurant.
- Full comprehension of Da Paolo Pizza Bar Food & Beverage Menu.
- Takes responsibility with the Restaurant / General Manager for meeting all budget goals.
- Takes responsibility with the Restaurant / General Manager for ensuring that quality standards for food production and service to guests are constantly maintained.
- To protect and positively promote the culture of Da Paolo Group through a world class standard of service.
- To demonstrate the Da Paolo Group ideal by ensuring the restaurant set up, running and closedown consistently meets our world class standards. Responsible for the daily outlet opening and closing.
- To uphold world class standards of food quality at all times, paying meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all dishes are delivered according to spec.
- To inspire, lead and work with with the Culinary team to ensure that food quality is world class.
- Responsible for ensuring that every special produced fits our concept - simple, rustic and seasonal.
- Responsible for creation of menu dishes, menu engineering & ensuring food quality.
- Responsible for Stewards, Commis Cooks, Chef De Partie, Junior Sous Chef & Sous Chef who will be reporting to you.

**Job Requirements**:
**Skills & Attributes**
- Attended SFA’s basic food hygiene course or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate and develop and effective working relationship with fellow employees.
- Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with dining guests.
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
- Possess the drive and passion to excel in the F&B industry.
- Strong communication skills & team player.
- Self motivated with positive working attitude.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance or improve operational procedures.
- Computer literate; can quickly learn new computer software and skills.

**Education & Experience**
- Must have a minimum of diploma/degree in culinary management.
- Min. Primary / Secondary / O level.
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English is a must.
- Min. of 6 years full time experience in the industry with 2 years as a Sous Chef and above.
- Extensive experience and passion in European cuisine.
