**Role**

An exciting opportunity has opened for a **_Junior _**_Piping Engineer _**full-time position.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for review and approval of engineering deliverables such as Piping, Equipment (Stationary & Rotary) specifications, Design Basis, P&ID, Layouts, RFQ and Contract / Tender documents.
- Responsible for design & engineering is in compliance with international codes and standards, project specifications, & general specifications prevalent in chemical industries.
- Perform and check design calculations and drawings, prepare equipment datasheets, requisitions, line lists and carry out technical bid evaluations and review vendor documents.
- Responsible for analysing critical piping systems of pumps, equipment, other mechanical and piping systems including jacketed piping systems.
- Taking the conceptual design through to implementation and handover.
- Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are properly planned and executed according to the program.
- Ensure material submission and approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors and sub-contractors and authorities, and to establish rolling program.
- Standardize technical standards and specification for the Company.
- Assist in formulating, implementing, and achieving the Company’s strategies and goals.
- Liaise with clients and ensure client’s satisfaction is maintained.
- Production of tender specifications and ensuring these align with contractual obligations.
- Work Autonomously.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of design and project experience in critical facilities such as manufacturing, chemical plant, and industrial building.
- Working experience with multi-national institution and clients will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Willing to be assigned to overseas for short term assignment if necessary.
- Proactive attitude.
- Appropriate software skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, with additional experience in Inventor being a strong advantage.
- Commercially astute.
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed
