**Community Occupational Therapist**

Provide Occupational Therapy services to persons who are at risk of falls or experience difficulties performing their activities of daily living resulting from their medical conditions, at their homes. The aim of Occupational Therapy is to optimize the patient’s independence and safety in their activities of daily living in the community.

You will be working closely with our Community Health Team (CHT)

**The Challenges**

You will assess, develop and implement treatment plans to help individuals achieve optimal independence by improving and restoring skills in activities of self care, daily living, work activities, leisure and play.

You will also educate and provide training for family members and caregivers on interventions and care giving skills.

You can also expect to contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.

Job Requirements:

- A diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by AHPC
- Full-Registration OT preferred. Fresh Graduate will also be considered.
- Team player, possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient focus, genuine desire to make a difference
- Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning, critical thinking, judgment and decision making in the provision of care
- Passionate about building a healthcare career, inspired to move ahead with challenges, possess a 'can-do' attitude, able to thrive in fast paced environment
- Working hours are flexible (Locum or regular arrangement will both be considered)
