- Identify and develop the Global Security Threat Management, Incident Response, and Fraud Preventive Service and programs.
- Maintains a strong working relationship with the business, technology, and product leaders, and other GLOBAL SECURITY and Technology Senior leadership to partner in the delivery of projects and programs that have global program effectiveness impact.
- Develops, assists in the selection process of GLOBAL SECURITY extended management team and motivates highly effective associates within the Global Security Organization.
- Produces necessary metrics to demonstrate overall completeness of the company’s global threat management, response, and defensive strategy.
- Delivers programs and services to support and integrate cross portfolio technology monitoring capabilities and provides oversight of monitoring and response activities between GLOBAL SECURITY and all of the company’s businesses with regards to threat monitoring, fraud, and incident response projects in all TikTok Divisions.
- Monitors all projects within the portfolio to ensure processes are being followed and goals achieved, including completing milestones on time and within budget and an effective change management process.
- Responsible for budget and team resource management and for robust security reporting. Uses knowledge and experience to develop organizational and Enterprise wide strategic planning.
- Develops and implements all operational programs, special operating practices, goals, objectives, and performance standards/ metrics. Bears full accountability for company wide threat management, containment, incident handling, and global monitoring of converged security matters as well as, customer satisfaction, and manager accountability for direct reports.
- Operates as a senior business operations protection leader for the business representing the CSO Office as well as the advocate for the Threat Management, Managed Security Services, Global Incident Response, and Fraud Protection teams communicating the value of Security across the company and with external customers.
- Provide a strategic point of view for threat monitoring and incident response operations that can be impacted by new technologies (cloud, mobility, virtualization), and business drivers (M&A, new business models).
- Develop an integrated converged security and fraud monitoring operation that enables a global threat, risk, privacy, and transparency, visibility, and broad incident identification capabilities across multiple go to market, enterprise, and operating platforms in partnership with Global Technical Architecture and Technical Security Services teams.
- Design and implement managed services monitoring, threat detection, defensive response capabilities (people, process, and technology) to identify, deter, and mitigate security threats and risks that may impact the business through a holistic global program oriented approach.
- Research and report on specific threat issues through the use of metrics, threat modeling and counter intelligence profiles to determine, design, and implement the appropriate detective and response capabilities that must be in place globally.
- Work globally internally and externally with key stakeholders to identify, and oversee the risk and fraud, and eCrimes defense management, platform crimes prevention, and business incident coordination with a Risk centric approach to the designs for remediation.
- Design operationally ready best practice managed security services for programs within his / her purview and solutions to monitor and defend the global corporate infrastructure and business processes.
- Work with the business and security leadership to design and build operational threat monitoring process, services, and response capabilities globally that enable, enhance, and extend the businesses ability to service and protect our customer’s needs and interests.
